A bit about Meg

Meg is an artist, curator, educator, and vintage storyteller who transforms ordinary artifacts into profound narratives of connection and meaning.

Trained in museum-based inquiry and art education, she developed a keen eye for seeing beyond the surface of historical items. She believes that by studying objects, we can cultivate critical thinking and gain deeper understanding of our ancestors' lives and how they have shaped our own lives.

Driven by curiosity, Meg founded Heart's Lore to curate artifacts that reveal our shared human experience. Her writing blends scholarly insight with personal reflection, inviting readers to see vintage pieces as living documents of creativity, resilience, and connection.

Through her work as educator and storyteller, Meg challenges us to uncover profound narratives hidden in the seemingly mundane. Each curated piece tells a story of the hands that created it, the lives it touched, and the cultural landscapes it represents.

The Journey

The Heart Behind the Lore

Sometimes life hands you an unexpected expedition. Mine began as a one-month mission to clear a family home — a practical task that quietly cracked open something much bigger.

As I moved through rooms of inherited belongings, each object felt like a portal: a tool, a magazine, a scrap of handiwork, holding more than its surface story. What looked like clutter began to read like archive — and I found myself tracing the threads between family, memory, craft, and the worlds that shaped us.

Heart’s Lore Stories is where I share those discoveries: the quiet histories objects carry, the lives they witnessed, and what they still ask of us.

Uncover the heart behind the lore — and join me.
